1) Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA) have been made between the European Union (EU) and some countries: United States, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand regarding product approvals.

Relevant to Brüel & Kjær products the agreement is covering EMC and Safety - i.e. the CE mark is recognised by the countries within this agreement.
