Description
Customers interested in vibration testing, LDS offers a introductory training course to vibration. The course is split over 2 days with an optional 3rd day for hands on training of the Comet and Laser vibration controllers. The two day course provides a practical introduction to the subject of vibration testing. Designed around the needs of engineers new to the subject of vibration testing and yet offering a useful refresher course for the more experienced user, this course explains how to interpret vibration test specifications and apply them to a vibration test system.
Subjects covered include electrodynamic shaker, theory and limitations, sine and random theory, SRS and classical shock, use of accelerometers much more. All LDS vibration training courses have been compiled by the Customer Training Manager, Trevor Harrison. Trevor has years of first hand practical vibration testing experience. Objectives
The purpose of the course is to provide confidence to the test engineer. The course will provide a new user with the knowledge to run his/her test specification on a product with their test system.
