In recent years Brüel and Kjær has released a complete line of test equipment and analysis software that makes Modal Testing more accurate and easier to setup. Modal shakers, amplifiers and stingers with a complete accessory line form a “One Stop Shop” with Total System Solutions including Analyzers, Data Acquisition/Validation Software module and post process Modal Analysis Software. For large and/or fragile structures, a single excitation point may be insufficient to drive the entire structure. Additionally, for complex and symmetrical structures, repeated mode shapes may be present. Both problems are solved using multiple excitation sources.
