Brüel & Kjær at AES 2010 Show
Brüel & Kjær’s technical specialists will be demonstrating its latest range of sound and vibration solutions at the Audio Engineering Society’s (AES) 128th show in London.
The three day event, held from 23rd to 25th May, offers visitors an opportunity to see the company’s tools in action, including its unique 4961 Multi-field Microphone - a ¼” transducer with the same low noise floor as a ½” microphone - which provides accurate measurements in unpredictable sound fields.
Visitors will have the chance to try out Bruel & Kjaer’s Head and Torso Simulator (HATS), which comprises a dummy with built-in ear and mouth simulators, to provide a realistic replica of an average, adult human head and torso. The HATS system is used to investigate the external acoustic effects from headsets, microphones, headphones, hearing aids, audio conference devices and hearing protectors.
And the company’s latest sound level meters will also be on display, including the versatile 2270 sound level meter, suitable for environmental noise assessment, occupational noise evaluation, building acoustic measurements, FFT analysis of sound and vibration, noise reduction and product quality control.
