Meet Brüel & Kjær at Autumn Events
Sound and vibration specialist, Bruel & Kjaer is participating at several technical trade shows during September.
The company’s noise specialists will be presenting papers and exhibiting at Acoustics 2011 in Glasgow, from 14th to 15th September at the Crowne Plaza, Glasgow. Organised by the Institute of Acoustics’ (IOA) Building Acoustics, Environmental Noise, Noise and Vibration Engineering and Measurement and Instrumentation Groups, Acoustics 2011 features experts in their respective fields delivering presentations encompassing building acoustics, environmental noise, measurement and instrumentation and noise and vibration engineering.
Brüel & Kjær will also be on hand throughout the Sensor + Systems show in Farnborough, running 14th and 15th September. During the three day event, visitors can meet the company’s sensor experts on stand C9, as they exhibit Brüel & Kjær’s latest transducer and conditioning equipment, including its new, 1704 conditioner/amplifier. The 1704 provides two channels of Constant Current Line Drive power (CCLD) for CCLD transducers. It benefits users by allowing transducer power to be delivered using the same coaxial cable, which the transducer uses, to return the measurement signal, thus reducing cabling costs and improving noise immunity – especially when compared to using multi-conductor cables.
Towards the end of the month, Bruel & Kjaer is exhibiting at the 46th UK Conference on Human Response to Vibration held on 20th to 22nd September in Buxton. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Bruel & Kjaer’s hand and arm vibration meters - and data analysis tools.
