IMAC XXVIII, 31st Jan - 4th Feb

Visitors at this year's IMAC will be able to discuss their measurement and analysis needs with Brüel & Kjær and LDS expert engineers - and see live demonstrations at stand number 107.

During this five-day event - which takes place at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Florida, USA - Brüel & Kjær's live demonstrations will include distributed LAN-XI modules and PULSE/ PULSE Reflex software for Classical Modal Analysis, Operational Modal Analysis and Operating Deflection Shapes Analysis.Plus Model Correlation and Updating using Test for I-deas and FEM Calibrator and complete solutions for Vibration Control using LDS shakers and controllers.

In connection with IMAC, various activities will be held including a Test for I-deas User Group Meeting and classes on PULSE Reflex Modal Analysis, PULSE Reflex Core and PULSE LAN-XI. A preconference, one-day course on Operational Modal Analysis by S. Gade and C. Ventura, University of British Colombia, Canada.will also take place on 31st January.

Throughout the conference, Brüel & Kjær will present several papers, including: “Second Order Blind Source Separation techniques (SO-BSS) and Their Relation to Stochastic Subspace Identification (SSI) Algorithm” - S. Chauhan; J. Antoni, University of Technology of Compiegne and “Utilization of Blind Source Separation Techniques for Modal Analysis” - S. Chauhan; B. Swaminathan, B.R. Sharma, R.J. Allemang, University of Cincinnati, on Monday 1st February.
 
“LAN-XI - The Next Generation of Data Acquisition Systems” - N.J. Jacobsen, on Wednesday 3rd February.
 
“New Microphone Technology Solves Many Problems” - B. Kriegbaum and "Applicability Limits of Operational Modal Analysis to Operational Wind Turbines” - S. Chauhan, D. Tcherniak; M.H. Hansen, Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, Technical University of Denmark -  on Thursday 4th February.

Visitors to Brüel & Kjær's stand will also be able to pre-register for a Reception the company is holding on 3rd February.
