Leading sound and vibration manufacturer, Brüel & Kjær, has launched an online quotation request tool to make the quotation process much faster for customers.

Customers can request a quote directly from the web page of a product they are interested in. This brings up a pre-completed request form, into which customers just enter their contact details and press send. The completed form is sent directly to the relevant local sales office, saving the customer time normally spent telephoning for a price or typing an e-mail themselves.

Regular visitors to Brüel & Kjær’s websites can save themselves time by registering their details on its website as the system automatically completes the contact detail section.

The online request form is just part of a host of features Brüel and Kjær has created to improve customer service, including an online booking form and tracking facility for products needing service or repair.

“The request-a-quote form is a great example of the ways in which we are developing our website to make it more user friendly for customers,” says Brüel & Kjær CEO Lars Rønn. “The quotation form ensures price requests get through to the right department fast and with no hassle on the customer’s part. And it can also be used to start a dialogue about bigger purchases or projects.”
